Limestone Brewers Field Day
The North Iowa Local Food Connection Program announces a Field Day and Brewery Tour at Limestone Brewers in Osage on Saturday, July 30. The event will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. at 518 Main St, Osage. Owners Tony Wynohrad and Josh Olson are eager to demonstrate the brewing process, and their love of the local community.
Limestone Taproom Manager Lisamarie Odeen explains, “The reason we’re called Limestone Brewers instead of Limestone Brewery is because it’s all about the people! It’s about bringing people together, providing space for the benefit of the community, and supporting our neighbors.”
Besides the taproom where core and seasonal beers are served, Limestone also offers hand-made pizza, a large group event area, which includes axe-throwing lanes and often provides live entertainment such as music, trivia, and comedy shows.
The Field Day will consist of a start-to-finish tour about beer brewing, introductions to creative and artistic beer, and a chance to taste some of the product.
