Soap Making with Laura Tidrick of Mossycup Farms

This hands on workshop at Simply Nourished will explore the aspects of all natural soap making. Participants will learn how ingredients change the characteristics of soap, perform calculations, weigh & blend ingredients, & customize their own soap by choosing essential oils and herbal add ins.

Each participant will take home their own custom batch of 3 bars of hair & body soap in a reusable silicone mold and all of the information needed to make a batch of soap on your own!

Participants also enjoy a glass of wine during the class.

This class will work with all natural ingredients including lard, organic castor oil, lye, essential oils, flowers and herbs. Participants should bring a 9×13 cake pan or box to transport their freshly made soap in and wear long pants, long sleeves and close toed shoes.

A 10% discount is given to all class participants directly following CLASSES on ingredients and select products featured in class.
