2024 Kitchen Networking Event

Join us for The North Iowa Kitchen Networking Event, hosted by Healthy Harvest of North Iowa, on Thursday, March 28th. This event is split into two audiences; the first part of the day is tailored for local farmers, producers, or makers/bakers who either have or are considering obtaining Food Establishment Licenses. The latter part of the event is for farmer’s market managers. See our itinerary:

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Kitchen Networking: An hour dedicated to mingling and building connections with like-minded individuals in the local kitchen community.

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Kitchen Operator Q&A: Get your questions answered by Dan from Cerro Gordo Public Health. Gain insights into compliance, regulations, and best practices for kitchen operations.

12:30 PM: Lunch and Informal Equipment Tour: Enjoy a delicious lunch provided during an informal equipment tour. Take this time to explore and discuss kitchen equipment. Farmers Market Managers will also be arriving during this period.

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Farmers Market Manager Q&A: Engage in a Q&A session with Dan from Cerro Gordo Public Health regarding Farmers Market management, regulations, and the intersection with Food Establishment Licenses.

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Networking for Farmers Market Managers: Connect and collaborate with Farmers Market managers during this dedicated networking session. Share experiences, ideas, and build relationships within the local food community.
