Our Impact

John Adams Middle School

We recently received a heartfelt thank you card from John Adams Middle School, which truly uplifted our spirits. The students' exemplary behavior and enthusiastic participation during a school visit were commendable.

One particular student, a young lady with autism, made a significant impression. Although reserved during class, she eagerly volunteered to measure ingredients and operate the blender bike. After class, she confided that she usually feels very uncomfortable trying new things. However, the supportive environment encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone.

Her experience underscores the importance of our mission. We are deeply grateful for moments like these that highlight the positive impact of our efforts.

Healthy Harvest of North Iowa is working to change that.
