Apple Radish Slaw
Who says your side dish slaw has to be cabbage? This crunchy apple and radish salad is crisp, refreshing, and adaptable. Ingredients with an asterisk (*) are available seasonally right here in North Iowa! Click on select ingredients to find them nearby or stop by your local farmer's market.

- Large Bowl
Ingredients
Slaw
- 1 apple* sliced into matchsticks
- 1 cup radish* sliced into matchsticks
- 1 cup carrot* sliced into matchsticks
- ½ cup green onions* chopped
Dressing
- 3 tbsp honey*
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 clove garlic* minced
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme, basil, oregano, parsley, sage)*
- salt + pepper
Instructions
- Whisk all dressing ingredients together in a large bowl. Add all slaw ingredients and toss well.
