Rhubarb Simple Syrup
Rhubarb everywhere! Try this refreshing syrup recipe to add to lemonade, cocktails, or drizzled on yogurt. Quick, easy, and delicious! Equipment
- Kitchen Knife
- Large Pot
- Strainer
Ingredients
- 4 cups rhubarb* chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a medium-large pot
- Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
- Strain with a fine mesh strainer fitted on a large bowl, use a wooden spoon to force as much liquid as possible into the bowl.
- Transfer to a jar or bottle.
Notes
This recipe can be doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled easily!
