In 2020 and 2021, we partnered with University of Northern Iowa’s CEEE Local Food Program and North Iowa Fresh to make accessing fresh, local foods and supporting our hard-working area farmers more convenient than ever before through our pilot of the Curbside Market online ordering program. Below are resources related to this project, and explanation of how the pilot program worked. 

Coming soon in 2022: the Cedar Valley will be launching an alternative online ordering program at the College Hill Farmers Market in Cedar Falls in partnership with We Arose Coop‘s Greens to Go program. Please check back for more information as market season nears.

Three easy steps: 

Greens to Go (formerly Curbside Market) will be available weekly at participating farmers markets, which is the College Hill Farmers Market in 2022. First time customers will register prior to your first checkout. After registering, simply log in to shop your favorite local goods online and place your order by 24 hours prior to market opening.

Minimum order of $5 is required.

Our staff will carefully assemble your custom order which will  be available for you at our curbside pick-up area during market hours. It’s that easy!

Shopping happens through Local Food Marketplace. For 2022, there is only one site, serving the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area. Once on the Local Food Marketplace site, you will need to select your market in the upper left-hand corner. Then you will be able to view all the products available at your market for that week.
