Clear Lake, Iowa  – Healthy Harvest of North Iowa announces a Field Day to learn about and celebrate access to locally produced and organic groceries. The event will be held at Simply Nourished–Clear Lake from 1 – 3 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2023.  Simply Nourished is located at 419 Main Ave., Clear Lake.

Owner Mindy Duff notes that Simply Nourished carries almost every type of grocery item a consumer might need. “Our inventory is smaller than most grocery stores, but there is a healthier, and better quality selection of items.  We’ve done the research for you and stock the best products available.”

Mindy Duff and Beth DeGroote have co-owned Simply Nourished-Clear Lake for a little over a year. They combine their knowledge and skills – Mindy as a holistic health and nutrition coach, and Beth as a grocery store owner – to guide the success of this organic grocery store.

“We really want to stress how accessible nutritious food can be,” says Mindy. “Because we purchase from local producers, and provide the best in organic foods, wellness truly is within reach.”

The field day will be an “open house” event, with a presentation about the history and philosophy of Simply Nourished at 1:15 pm, followed by an opportunity to browse the shop, enjoy some tastings, and visit with the owners.
