Instructions

  • Remove skins from each garlic clove (tip: cut off the ends of each clove to help you easily peel away the skins). Put cloves into a mason jar and pour enough honey in to cover all the garlic.
  • Put a tight fitting lid on the jar and let sit at room temperature.
  • Flip the jar upside down every day or two. After 3 days, remove the lid to "burp" the gasses and give it a good stir. Put the lid back on and let sit for another week or so before using. Keep at room temp in a dark place. For best flavor, wait around 30 days before use.
  • Use the honey for salad dressings, as a meat marinade, drizzle it over pizza or veggies, or just eat it by the spoonful when you feel a cold coming on. You can also use the garlic cloves for dressing or as a supplement. Replace each ingredient as you use it.
