Rhubarb Simple Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups rhubarb* chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a medium-large pot
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Strain with a fine mesh strainer fitted on a large bowl, use a wooden spoon to force as much liquid as possible into the bowl.
  • Transfer to a jar or bottle.

Notes

This recipe can be doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled easily!
