  • Let meat come to room temperature. Soak ¼ cup bread crumb in a small bowl with ¼ milk for 20 minutes. Chop 1/2 a bunch of green onions keeping white and green parts separate.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook white parts of onions in hot oil until soft about 3 minutes. Add green parts and cook/stir for an additional 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and stir. Turn off heat.
  • Combine onions, bread crumb mixture, egg, and seasonings into meat. Using wet hands, form meat mixture into balls about 1½ inch in diameter.
  • Arrange onto a greased baking sheet (or place on parchment paper on a baking sheet.) Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Bake meatballs for 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  • Remove meatballs from the oven and serve immediately.
