Snap Pea Chips
A healthier chip alternative. Great for dipping in hummus or tzatziki. Ingredients with an asterisk (*) are available seasonally right here in North Iowa! Click on select ingredients to find them nearby or stop by your local farmer’s market.
Ingredients
- 1 lb snap peas*
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder and/or garlic powder
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450ºF. Wash and dry sugar snap peas and remove their "strings".
- Toss with olive oil, nutritional yeast, and seasonings of choice.
- Arrange in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until crispy, about 20 minutes.
