Ingredients
1pie crustunbaked
1cupmilk
5eggs*slightly beaten
4slicesbacon*
1cupcheeseswiss, gruyere', asiago etc.
8ozasparagus*
2-3green onions*sliced
salt & pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425.
Place pie crust in greased pie plate.
Cook bacon until crisp. Cool. Crumble.
Cut asparagus into 1/2" pieces.
Fill pie shell with bacon, cheese, asparagus and onion. Season with salt & pepper.
Mix milk and eggs. Pour into pie shell. Brush crust with egg white.
Bake 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325 and bake for additional 20-25 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
