Ingredients
1cupbasil*packed
1/2cupmint*packed
1/2lemon zest
1/2lemon juice
2 to 3tbsphoney* or maple syrup*
1/2cupwater
2cupsice
Lemon slice and extra mint or basil for garnish(optional)
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients EXCEPT for the ice to a blender.
Blend on high until everything is mostly smooth.
Add the ice and use the ice crush setting to crush the ice until it is smooth and a slushy like consistency. You may need to stir it a few times to break up the ice.
Transfer to a glass and garnish with a lemon slice and/or mint leaves or basil leave, if desired.
