Ingredients
2cupscherries*
1½cupssugargranulated, less for more tart flavor
2cupswater
Instructions
Remove pits (you can tear them out, gently, since it won't matter what they look like) and stems. See video for tips!
Over medium-high heat, add cherries, sugar, and water to a pot and bring to a low boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for a minimum of 10 minutes before transferring to a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds.
Strain liquid with a fine mesh strainer and store in a sealed container.
Use a tablespoon or two at a time to add to your favorite summery drink!
