Ingredients
1/2lbbacon*chopped
1onion*thinly sliced
1tbspbutteroptional
1headcabbage*cored and sliced
2tbspcaraway seeds
3tbspcoarse mustard
12ozlocal beer*
2tbsphoney*or sugar
salt + pepperto taste
Instructions
In a large saucepan, cook the bacon over low heat. Add the onions and sweat for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and season.
Cook until cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.
