Ingredients
16ozLion's Mane mushrooms*
4tbspolive oil
4tbspbutterreplace with additional oil for vegan (or vegan butter)
salt + pepperto taste
smoked paprikaoptional, to taste
Instructions
Slice your mushrooms about 1/2 inch thick (thinner or thicker depending on preference).
Place your mushroom steaks into a large dry skillet and turn the heat to LOW. Let them "sweat out" some of their water content for a few minutes on each side. Remove from pan.
Add butter and oil to your large skillet over medium high heat. Add the mushrooms steaks, salt, pepper, and paprika and cook until brown, about two minutes on each side.
