Ingredients
1cupnut butter
½cuphoney*
2cupsrolled oatsOr gluten free oats
1cuprice cerealor a combination of flaxseed, chia seeds, hemp hearts, rice cereal, peanuts, slivered almonds, walnuts, etc
sea salt
1tspcoconut oiloptional
Instructions
Over very low heat stir together the nut butter and honey until just combined. Remove from heat. Pour into a large mixing bowl and add remainder of ingredients. Stir, stir, stir until ingredients are coated. If mixture is too dry, add melted coconut oil 1 tsp at a time, stirring well between each tsp, until mixture is fully coated.
For bars: Dump mixture into a casserole dish and press down with parchment paper or your hands. Refrigerate to harden up before cutting into square or rectangular bars and servingFor bites: Scoop ⅛ cup or so of granola mixture with your hands and shape. Put onto a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Refrigerate to harden up a bit (if you can wait that long!) and serve.
